What’s Keepin’ That Book?

OK, so I’m working on it, but, like too many, I seem to bite off more than I can chew … or maybe not so much more than I can chew, but it just keeps other projects at the nonworking end of the writing production line. Still, this article was fun and; so I’m sharing. Check out my August’s article on Janine Turner and her lovely daughter Juliette.

And I’m working on a second book idea (that really has me excited after watching Inception!). If you haven’t seen that movie, run, don’t walk! It’s fabulous.

The Medievel Chronicle Ventures Online

medievals
adjective
2 Novels about the Middle Ages, the Dark Ages, Dark-Age; or Gothic eras, which focus on a time that, at its darkest core, is a wellspring of romantic possibilities and noble beginnings.

Anyone who reads or writes medievals does so because they love the era, and, I believe it’s because we’re inspired by the romance at its coeur. Artists Among the Homeless

I did an article about a year ago about a Dallas girl who started out in a soup kitchen and discovered artists among the homeless. She started a nonprofit and created cards featuring artwork by the homeless. Proceeds go to their benefit. Check it out.

New (& Old) Photos!

Who doesn’t love to look at photos? It’s the first place I head to on my friend’s blogs, so I figured I’d share a few of mine – a few ancient ones as well as a few recent. There’s even one of me at my very first book signing. Enjoy!

The Great MySpace Migration

It used to be that both readers and writers were relegated to cyber communities like Prodigy and AOL (in the early days) – forums sans graphics or photos. We were faceless friends joined together by a common interest. Books. For the most part, it was perfectly OK, because these communities were built upon the one thing we all loved. Words. That, and our kindred spirits. (more…)

Married At Midnight In Spanish!

Married at Midnight
While many of my books have been translated into French, Chinese, Russian, Italian, this translation means the most to me, because for the first time, my Spanish mother can read one of my books in her native language.
