Friends, Don’t Let Friends Text and Drive

So, all is well, but I had an accident this weekend. The kid was texting. I sat there looking at him, punching away at his mobile keyboard while we waited for help. He was alive, just a little shaken, otherwise OK, despite slamming into the rear of my car at 65 mph. His car was totaled. He could have been my son. He was about the same age. He could have hit my son … or my daughter. The outcome could have been so much worse … I saw his text … “I don’t know dude, I looked down, then I looked up. Wham!” Who’s next? And will the outcome be as sunny?

Sign the pledge folks. And please, don’t text and drive. I’m signing it now …

Thank you all for the birthday wishes!

Well, I just celebrated my birthday (No, I’m not telling how old!) with friends in Denver and had a fantabulous time!

I’ve been to Denver before, but never saw it through these eyes. I think it’s my new vision of heaven.

Catching Up

Every so often, life throws you a curve ball. Sometimes, it’ll pitch you half a dozen — all at the same time. Call it character building, perhaps, but that’s just where I found myself with the release of my last book for Avon. After 13 historical romance novels, I was contemplating, not simply a change in writing material, but in career and personal life, as well.
