I was born in Rota, Spain, and still proudly declare a dual citizenship. As much as I love the U.S.A., I also adore the country of my (and my mother’s) birth. I’m also a proud mother of two fantastic human beings and despite the bumpy roads I’ve traveled, I remain a hopeless romantic. Although I’m not always certain how I got the title, considering that I’m a die-hard
realist, friends and family sometimes refer to me as “Pollyanna.” But, the name calling is usually done with a healthy dose of good will, so I’m OK with it. And I’ll let it be my little secret that Pollyanna is just half of my personality (I am a gemini, after all).
Rewinding just a bit, I grew up a military brat, and, while goodbyes were never easy, I’m grateful for the disparity in cultures I’ve been privileged to experience. And I’m certain that every person I’ve met, every spoken word, every tear and every trickle of laughter have contributed to the canvas that is my writing. And with that said, I’ll answer a few questions a la MySpace:
