Typical Boilerplate Response From Pro-NutraSweet Factions
My Original Message Date: Thu, 31 Oct 1996 13:00:55 +0500 To: info@natrataste.com From: Dave RietzSubject: Aspartame Otherwise known as NutraPoison. http://www.natrataste.com/natra/faq.html You sell a strong Pandora's box of future problems. It took 15 years for Equal to almost do me in... and I'm pissed. Enough to spend some of that money I no longer need for expensive doctors to obtain prescriptions for exotic and expensive drugs to attempt to mask the damage done by aspartame! Now four years into prostate cancer... with no history of it in my family and since I was the last stage "D" at the age of 55, I tend to believe aspartame triggered this cancer. My biggest goal in life is to see this crud reclassified from "food additive" to "toxic drug", and driven off the shelves and out of the over 9000 products now using it. A national disgrace caused by a greedy Dr. Hayes of the FDA... and now the subject of a massive coverup by all. When John Q. Public finally gets wise, those who pushed this poison on them won't be looked upon with any favor! If you were unaware... please avail yourself of a wealth of information... from many sources... and growing. Regards...
Typical Lockstep NutraPoison Industry Response To: Dave RietzFrom: "Consumer Affairs Department, Stadt Corp." Subject: Re: Aspartame Dear Mr. Rietz: Aspartame was approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1981 for several food categories. Recently, the FDA granted approval for aspartame's use in all food categories. As a condition for approval, the FDA required the manufacturer of aspartame, the NutraSweet Company, to monitor the consumption of aspartame. Since that time, health complaints allegedly associated with the consumption of aspartame were investigated by the FDA and the Center for Disease Control. These health organizations concluded that there is no association between the consumption of aspartame and any adverse effects. This finding in in line with the results of animal studies and clinical trials sponsored by aspartame's manufacturer. Aspartame was also approved for use in several countries, including Canada, prior to its approval in the U.S. Its safety has been affirmed be leading health organizations such as the World Health Organization, the American Dietetic Assocation and the American Diabetes Association. Sincerely, Consumer Affairs Department NatraTaste Division STADT CORP. (P.S. I believe these folks are so afraid to stray from the "approved" dialogue that all of their responses are worded identically. Not an original bone in their bodies! Certainly not an honest one!)
My Typical Response to that Bull! Yes, oh nameless one, I am all to familiar with the deceit, subterfuge, bogus tests, fraud... not to mention the players switching sides to work for Monsanto or friends/law representatives. Those bogus test results do not negate the truth. To your dogma-bound dismay you will, sooner than later, have this national disgrace shown in the total light of day, and those lies will not hold up. I suspect that you and your henchmen won't, either! I believe you are well on your way to finding out how it feels to be despised. Despised in the same manner as those who were prosecuted for war crimes after World War II. People despised for their crimes against humanity. Mass international poisoning makes those crimes pale in comparison! I believe you grossly underestimate the power of several million angry consumers! Hang on to your lies... we are coming for justice! Consumer Affairs Department NatraTaste Division STADT CORP. Isn't it "comforting" to hide behind a big name? Sort of like being invincible. NO ONE can determine who you are or what you do for a living. Impersonal and impervious. In short, not accountable!
